How to merge image and the texture in Adobe PhotoShop:

• Open the texture
• Make a new layer from a background (texture)
• Click on the Move tool (top option on the left toolbar menu)
• Open the other image
• Drag texture to the other image
• Drag texture to the left top corner
• Menu: Edit > Transform > Scale
  • Drag bottom corner to the bottom right end
  • Press enter
• Background copy (texture layer) - switch to Overlay
• Drag the texture to the bottom icon (Add Vector Mask)
• Click on the background copy
• On the left toolbar - make it black (black color erases, white adds)
• Click on brush and then paint (erase) where needed
• In order to darken the edges you can use burn tool or the option bellow

To control the ligthening of the image:

• Select backup copy layer
• Click on the layer mask
• On the left toolbar select Gradiant
• Drag it diagonaly
• Then again use brush (black/white) to adjust some spots on the image
